School Trips

Sky-Vue Skateland offers a  variety of different school trips that your students will love!

STEM Field Trips

We offer an educational field trip at Sky-Vue Skateland that immerses students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The STEM concepts are related to roller skating, where students will learn that STEM is all around them and not just a concept found in science labs.

The students participate in an hour lesson, including hands-on STEM activities taught by a dynamic STEM educator.

After the lesson, the students will participate in two hours of roller skating. We offer a basic learn-to-skate lesson prior to putting on their skates. Students may choose from traditional quad skates as well as inline skates. Skate mates are available for students who may require a little extra help with balance.

Students may participate in skating games that will reinforce skating skills. You may bring your own lunch or purchase a package with lunch included.

Many students tell us this field trip is their favorite and lots of fun. This private event is available for groups with at least 50 students.  Learn more about STEM school trips here.

PBIS Skate Parties

We offer 2 hours of roller skating fun to reward your students. Students get out of the classroom and participate in a healthy physical activity that’s fun and social. They’ll enjoy skating with their friends, listening to music, and participating in skating games. This is a private session and requires a minimum of 50 student participants.

Spirit Skate Nights

Students love to skate on the weekends. It’s a fun place they can be with their friends. Your school may schedule a Spirit Skate Night to receive a percentage of the admission of your participating students.

Family Fundraising Night

Your school may schedule a weeknight session for just your school families to come and skate together. You’ll receive a percentage of the door admissions as a rebate to support your school. This activity provides quality time for families and builds great rapport with teachers and staff. Fun for the whole family.

DARE Skate Night

We support the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program offered by the local sheriff’s department. The program is designed to help kids resist the pressures of drugs and violence. DARE is an eleven-week program taught by a certified law enforcement officer. Most schools teach this program in the 5th grade curriculum. The deputy who teaches the class coordinates a special DARE Skate Night for the students.. Sky-Vue Skateland proudly rewards all graduates with a FREE DARE skating session.
