Move in May is the campaign to celebrate National Physical Fitness & Sports Month. Roller Skating is a great physical activity for skaters of all ages. Physical activity is the fountain of youth and energy! Skate your way to health and fitness at Sky-Vue Skateland.

No Skating May 4th

We have another obligation on Saturday, May 4, 2024, so we will be closed for skating. Our regular skating schedule returns on Friday, May 10 at 7 PM.

May Events

D.A.R.E Skate
May 16th, 6 PM -8 PM

Sky-Vue Skateland supports Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) for Edgecombe County students. Corporal Whitaker teaches our 5th-grade students about the dangers, consequences, and resistance to pressures to experiment with drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.

Dare graduates; please wear your DARE T-shirt for free admission and skate rental. Invite your family and friends to celebrate with you for $10 (admission and skate rental). Celebrate this milestone with Corporal Whitaker.

National Pizza Party Day on May 17th - skate at Sky-Vue and get a free slice of pizza

National Pizza Party Day
May 17, 7 PM – 10 PM

Enjoy an evening of roller skating and pizza on Friday night from 7 to 10 p.m. With all paid admissions, you’ll receive a free slice of pizza.

Summer Activities

We’ll open on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (June 13-August 15) This session is great for families and young skaters. We also offer a skating lesson at 2 p.m. Come learn to skate with us! Small groups and daycares can join this session. Call Mrs. Denise at 252-442-7418 to learn the details and schedule your dates.

Have dinner with us during our Thursday evening sessions. We’ll include free pizza with your admission for this session. Everyone entering must pay admission. Admission is $9. Beverages and skate rentals are not included. The session is open from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Pizza will be served until 7:30 pm.

The Best Summer Ever at Sky-Vue Skateland

STEM SKATE
June 20, 9 am – 12 PM

STEM Skate is scheduled for Thursday, June 20, from 9 am until 12 pm.

$20 per person.

Includes a STEM lesson on forces and motion, skating with skate rental, and lunch (1 slice of pizza and soda). Register online.

Sky-Vue Skate Camp
June 24-26

Skate Camp for Kids: June 24-26, 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Let’s learn to roller skate. We’ll teach all things roller skating, including balance, cannonball, crossovers, stopping, and exploring games to improve our skating skills. A snack will be provided.

Cost is $85.00 per student. Register online.
