Often time adults are so busy adulting they have forgotten to take time to play.
Adults look forward to downtime for themselves, which passes quickly and doesn’t occur often enough. Some things just need to be intentional. A weekly date night does well for a marriage and a weekly night out for a single parent does wonders to lift the spirits.
Roller Skating has become popular during the Covid-19 pandemic. People started looking for things outdoors to give them relief from being homebound. Skaters took to the streets and local parks sharing their skating experiences on TikTok. The exposure on social media exploded causing many people to become interested in skating again. People began searching for skates to purchase. Skate inventories were hit hard causing a shortage of supply for traditional skate purchases for Christmas.
January is often a busy month at local skating rinks. Folks are seeking indoor activities due to cold weather while others are starting a new year’s resolution of exercise. Sky-Vue Skateland is currently seeing more adults returning to skating. Some parents are skating with their young children while young adults are skating with their group of friends for an evening of fun.

Mark your calendar for Thursday, February 4, and February 18, 7:00-9:00 pm to join your friends for 2 hours of rolling fun.
We‘ll offer the best music from the ‘70s ’80s and ’90s for shuffle skating and more.
It will be a great session for adults to claim the floor for themselves. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skater, we’re confident you’ll enjoy the energy of the music to put you in a great mood. Remember the fun you experienced as middle schoolers?
