April Events

Are you looking for fun things to do with your family? April offers lots of roller skating opportunities for kids of all ages. We decided to remain open on Sunday afternoons, 1:30-3:30 pm, during April. However, we will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 9.

Skate & Play: Saturday, April 1

Our monthly skate & play for ages 8 and younger is April 1, 10 am until 12:00 noon. This monthly session allows young children to enjoy our skating floor without the big kids. We’ll bring out our fisher price skates, skate mates, ride on toys, big wheels, and hopper balls. Lots of fun activities as well.  Admission is $10. Doors open at 9:55 am. This is our last session of the season. It returns in October.

Learn to Skate Classes: Saturday, April 1

April is our last month of group skating lessons. They will return in October. Mrs. Denise is available for private lessons.

Spring Break: April 13

When the children are out of school, we try to open for additional skating sessions. We’ll open Thursday afternoon, April 13, 1:00-3:30 pm. Admission is $10 and skate rental is $4.

Be sure to arrive by 1:30 to learn how to skate from Mrs. Denise’s Show and Tell skate lesson. The session will be non-stop with great music and fun games.

Bring a friend and get moving!

The drawing will be during our evening sesion on Saturday, April 15.

HomeSchool STEM field trip: April 19

We’ve reserved April 19, 10am until 1:00 pm for homeschoolers to experience the STEM lab at the skating rink. Mr. Cobb will teach a dynamic STEM lesson with hands on stations for students to experiment with STEM principles. The 3 hour field trip is open for Kindergarteners through 8th grade. Preregistration is required – click here to register.

The cost is $20 per student. The fee covers: STEM lesson, Skating, and lunch (1 slice of pizza, chips, and water). If learning was this fun everyday, students would beg to go to school.
